This exquisite special edition Lorenzi chess set, contained in a ‘Chancellor of the Exchequer budget red’ calf leather case, comprises handcarved cow horn white pieces, handcarved buffalo horn black pieces and a rosewood board inlaid with cow & buffalo horn squares. A loose plaque indicating the edition number can be found in the red calf leather-lined drawer.
