Handwoven 22 carat gold belt by Marie Helene de Taillac
In both her approach and genetics (she counts Porthos, one of the Three Musketeers as an ancestor), Marie-Helene de Taillac is strictly an aristocrat. Fascinated by precious stones since childhood, hers is an enviable existence – spending six months of the year living in India where she designs and sources her jewellery and the remainder between her family chateau in the South of France and her new Rue de Tournon HQ designed by her friend Tom Dixon. We are not in silver-spoon territory however for Marie-Helene is a designer of lifelong passion and prodigious talent – recognised most recently by her being given the Wallpaper Magazine Award for jewellery in 2006.
Handwoven in 22 carat gold (each belt takes 12 days to make), this immaculate piece (typically graciously stealth wealth) has been designed by Marie-Helene exclusively for 20ltd.com and is limited to only 20 editions
