Having graduated in architecture, Paolo Mandelli and Luna Scamuzzi founded Lucifer Vir Honestus in 1999, naming the company after the nickname of the first Milanese goldsmith in the fifteenth century. Their single-minded vision was to replicate the standard of the past grandmasters - using only the lost art of wax casting to create their famously and sensuously organic forms in their charming brick-vaulted studio in Milan’s trendy Corso Como.
